Out In The Moonlight

out in the moonlight

maybe i’m a fool
maybe you’re just fooling with me
but you just looked my way
i swear you just looked my way
and i’ve been waiting all night long
just to talk to you
and it would make my day
baby it would make my whole world sway
if we could go out in the moonlight
away from this crowd
this sort of music doesn’t feel right
and these folks are way too loud
and when we get out in the moonlight
i might ask you to dance
and maybe we can make some romance
out in the moonlight

now you don’t know my name
but you can’t say the same about me
though it sounds bizarre
i know who you are
and i’ve been waiting way to long
just meet you
and it’s sure been nice so far
but i can’t stand this noisy bar

how about we go out in the moonlight
and get us some air
it’s really such a lovely june night
i bet it’s nice and cool out there
and when we get out in the moonlight
we can walk hand in hand
feels just like a foreign land there
out in the moonlight

there’s a glow in the darkness
there’s a light in the sky
there’s a warmth in my heart yes
is that love in your eye

how about we go out in the moonlight
(repeat)
